 Born in Edinburgh,
Scotland with a womb mate named George (my twin brother-on the right) I grew up
having
fond memories of my childhood spent in a beautiful city. Called the Athens
of the
North, Edinburgh has a castle downtown and a mile of flowering gardens. |

1974 |
Played guitar in a rock band Iron Virgin -(you can see lots of photos and hear the band if you clink on the link below right) in the 70's and recorded a couple of singles. "Jet" - written by Paul McCartney was almost a hit before Paul released it himself as a single. I wrote quite a few songs while with the band and the songwriting gradually became more poetry. |

Moved to Dallas to marry and became a father in 1985. |

1991 |
Now have my own studio - Scotch Productions, Inc.and I thrive on recording as many diverse things as possible. My bread and butter is radio and television commercials. Recently I recorded one of the world's most renowned Erhu players ( a Chinese violin) at Caruth Auditorium, also I recorded a Persian santur (zither-like instrument) in my studio. |

2003 |
 Angelika Theater - What
an event !!! I only wish I had taken my camera. It was like the opening in
Hollywood of some big movie. A piper was at the door skirling his pipes. An
abundance of gorgeous women stunningly dressed. The movie was a riot ! Pure
silly nonsense. A Monty Python-type spoof on Braveheart and I was the narrator.
